Martin Burns grew up near New York City and went on to graduate from Reed College in Portland, Oregon.  After a stint as a Case Manager for the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore he became a licensed Options Market Maker on the Pacific Exchange in San Francisco.  After trading stocks and options for 10 years he moved to Madison, Wisconsin and opened The Curtis Agency.  In 2016 he partnered with Jesus Carvajal and formed Curtis & Carvajal Insurance.     

Originally from Venezuela, Jesus Carvajal moved to Madison, Wisconsin in 1996 and became a Farmers Insurance Agent in 2003.  He is active in the Latino community and served as the president of the Latino Chamber of Commerce from 2005-2006.  Driven by his passion for serving his clients and advancing the interests of the Latino community, Jesus left Farmers and partnered with Martin Burns to form Curtis & Carvajal Insurance.   

Kim Olson is a native of Middleton, Wisconsin and began her insurance and financial services career with State Farm.  Her success helping State Farm open and build a scratch Agency led Kim to pilot the Wisconsin expansion of MEEMIC Insurance Company, a company serving the educational community.  Following the purchase of MEEMIC by GMAC Kim became the state representative for GMAC's Wisconsin operations.  Having worked so hard helping build business for others Kim decided to build one herself.
